This strategically planned pathway is available and open to all the students pursuing their studies at the University. The University provides guidance and mentorship to students aspiring to start their own companies and become job providers rather than jobseekers. Aspiring entrepreneurs go through a 21-step program enabling them convert their ideas into viable business plans through targeted guidance. Each student or group of students with a business plan is provided with mentors from drawn from the industry and professionals from Jain International University who help them to convert ideas into solid plans required to start their own businesses.
Since the market today is very competitive, it is important for those who want to start their own businesses to be able to identify existing opportunities, create new ones, analyze risks, come up with viable business development models and attracting the right investors. Jain International University, Rwanda intends to offer programs specifically designed to provide students the know-how to start their companies. The Jain International University Incubation Centre, Rwanda acts as a catalyst and facilitator for start-ups. Aspiring entrepreneurs will be assisted in incubating their companies here. The center would draw on the professional expertise available for setting up businesses and tailored to suit the conditions and requirements in Rwanda. The center will encourage ideas and help the students to build prototypes for their business models and test them. The incubation center would also help students to attract investors for their businesses through its wide network.
